A research study in the British Medical Journal shows that the Alexander Technique has long term benefits for patients with chronic back pain.
Just 6 lessons resulted in a 48% reduction in days of having back pain and 24 lessons lead to an 86% reduction in days of experiencing back pain. Quality of life also improved significantly.
The Alexander Technique benefits people long-term due to their active participation in the Technique's learning process.
